Can you just be curious?

Do you need to be in crisis to be in therapy?

No. Crisis can be that big life crunchpoint that gets you searching for your therapist, but you can also begin therapy from a point of curiosity, of intrigue, of interest.

Curiosity looks like:
🌀 A deepening interest in what makes you you
the next step in building your understanding of how you relate to the world around you
🌀Following a hunch that there is something deeper in why you react to certain things in the way you do
🌀A curiosity about your nervous system and how that has been shaped by your environment and relationships
🌀A search for deeper meaning and purpose in your everyday

Curiosity also looks like:
💙Putting yourself in context, looking at the relational, sociological and political systems you are part of (and finding an authentic way to start challenging and stretching those systems)
💙A drive to deepen your creative process – and you don’t have to be creative in the traditional sense (‘cause everyone is creative)
💙An intention to make your automatic life choices feel more considered and conscious and true to you
💙A desire to rediscover the vital, inspired and pulsating parts of you that you’ve lost contact with (or maybe haven’t met yet, but you know they’re there)

See how much potential there is?

Come to therapy before you reach crisis. Come in curiosity.

If you feel curious, I’m currently accepting new clients. Contact me to book an initial consultation. Link in bio.
