SELF-SUPPORT COURSE
By ‘triggers’ I mean any event, emotions or experience that you find yourself ‘triggered’ by, that cause you unnecessary excessive emotional pain and that feel somehow cyclical or pattern-based.
This course is for you if:
You feel stuck in loops in personal and professional relationships and cannot break free from them
Notice that you overact to certain situations that others might have more seemingly reasonable responses to
Want to understand your emotional history better and the connection between past and present events and experiences
Are curious about your nervous system and how it connects to your reactivity in relationships
Want to become more accountable and in control of your life and relationship choices
Believe in the power of self-compassion and curiosity or perhaps want to believe in these as agents of healing and profound body-mind change
In order to make the information and tools on this course as helpful and accessible as possible, I have divided the course into 6 modules which are available as PDF Workbooks to download and audios to listen to.
All the tools in The Transform Your Triggers Course are also collated in a separate Toolbook for easy access whenever you need them.
You can listen and read the course in your own time and on your own terms. In fact, it’s really important to pace yourself in a comfortable, confidential space.
Please note: if you feel you may be experiencing any symptoms of complex trauma or PTSD, I strongly recommend you seek support through psychotherapy or counselling. This course is in no way a means to replace the long-term multi-disciplinary approach that may be needed as support for more complex psychological needs.

Here is what you can expect from the Transform Your Triggers course:
Module 1: What is a Trigger
We start by asking ‘What is a trigger? and defining the characteristics of this unique yet universal experience.
Module 2: What Makes a Trigger?
Here we trace the source of triggers, looking at how unprocessed experiences or feelings in the past may be the cause of why we are triggered in the present moment.
Module 3: The Neurobiology of a Trigger
Exploring how, for every emotional reaction, there is a corresponding physiological reaction. Building your sense of your inner world and the connection between your mind and body, and the magic of your nervous system.
Module 4: Your Trigger Map
Here we map out your own personal trigger cycle looking at the domino effect that takes you from emotional and psychological A to Z. You will gain an understanding of each stage, how this relates to you and why the body and mind love loops.
Module 5: Breaking the Cycle
A look at the in-the-moment tools that can be used when you’re triggered and how the conscious repetition of these tools create possibility for change. We’ll look at different types of tools to give you as much choice as possible with how you resource yourself.
Module 6: From Trigger to Glimmer
Exploring the opposite of a Trigger, Glimmers alongside long-term strategies for supporting your ongoing healing and growth into a life that moves from surviving to thriving.
Learn how to identify your unique physiological and psychological symptoms of being triggered.

Understand what a trigger is, how they are caused and some of the possible roots of your own personal triggers
Understand the neurobiology of a trigger and the foundations of your autonomic nervous system
Understand the trigger cycle and be able to map your own personal trigger map
Learn how to identify your unique physiological and psychological symptoms of being triggered
Identify your key coping mechanisms and strategies
Know how to track your own triggers and begin to spot patterns
Develop ways to break your own trigger cycle and consider alternative new coping strategies
Start to build a toolkit of helpful and appropriate resources that can support you when you’re triggered
Discover the promise of a glimmer
Learn about the value of self-compassion and curiosity as a step towards long-term healing
Define what healing means to you, manage your own expectations for your future

£250 = 2 x 50 minute Therapeutic Coaching sessions
Add two therapeutic coaching sessions to further support you in transforming your triggers. One session will be scheduled towards the end of you completing the course and the second will be scheduled once you have completed the course in full.
